It’s with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing on of our beloved matriarch Mrs. Monica Kemunto Nyakweba, that occurred on 2nd December 2023, in Nairobi.

She hails from Riobara Sub-Location, Nyamagwa Location, Kisii County.

Devoted wife to the late Francis Nyakweba Isanda. Cherished mother to Josca, Janet, George, Bernard, Denis and Tom.

Loving mother-in-law to Ken, Sambuluma, Nyakerario, Doreen, Jerusa and Maureen.

Doting grandmother to Catherine, Jones, Kevin, Michelle, Natalie, Nicole, Inara, Naima, lvy, Samantha, Bryanna and Levin.

Adorable great-grandmother to Jayden and Jordan.

She was the beloved daughter of Mzee Jefuney Osiemo and Mama Bathsebah Osebe.

Sister to Mogusero, Gichana, Martha, Monda, Nelson, Delilah, Rachael, Joash, Moraa, Jason, Nyambane, Rogito,
Gichaba, Bwari, Jenifer, Teresa, Getonto, Josephine, among others.

Daughter-in-law to Mzee Isanda Aberi, Mama Dina Nyabonyi and Sarange Isanda,

Sister-in-law to Esther, Sophia, Omari, Aberi, Moguche, Omweri, Teresa, Rose, Morang’a, Omwoyo, Nyabwari, Moracha, Nyantaroka, Kwamboka, amongst others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her Utawala and Riobara home from 4.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements. :

The memorial service will be held on Wednesday 13th December, 2023 at Nairobi Central SDA Church, Milimani at 11,00am.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on Thursday 14th December, 2023 at 7:00am for an overnight stay at her Riobara, Kisii home.

The burial service will be held on Friday 15th December, 2023.
