MONICA WAMBUI KAMAU KARINA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Monica Wambui Kamau Karina, which occurred on 11th of September 2024.

She was the daughter of the late Thuita Wanjau and the late Tabitha Wangui of Gatunguru, Mathioya Muranga County. 

She was the loving wife of the late Stephen Kamau Karina (Kamau wa mbicha).

Mother of Lydia Kinyanjui, Lucy Wangui, Bob and Jennifer Karina, Thuita & Phyllis, Jimmy Ngarega, Mwangi Karina & Mshai, Wanja Southerland (USA) and Muthoni Munene.

She was also step mother of Wairimu Kamau, the late Sam & Joan Karina, Njeri & Manyeki, Grace & Njuguna Mbugua, Kinyanjui & Esther, Ken Ngarega (USA), Ndungu & Lucy (USA), Wambui Ndicu (USA) and Joyce Wangari (USA) and many others.

Grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Family and friends will meet for a memorial service on Sunday, 15th September 2024 at 2:00 pm at The Karina’s residence in Ridgeways.

The funeral and burial service will be on Thursday, 19th September 2024 at her home in Maragua Ridge, Muranga County.
