It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Monicah Wathoni Mugi of South Kinangop, Njabini.

Daughter of the late Francis Mwangi Irani and the late Eunice Wangari. Loving Wife of Peter Mugi Kihia and co-wife of Esther Wangari Mugi both of Mutech Contractors. Loving Mother to Josphat Kihia- Njabini, Francis Mwangi- Njabini, Florence Wangari Gitimu, the late William Muthokia, Charles Irani- USA, Edward Gitahi- Mutech Contractors, Eunice Wangari-Thika, Florence Wangari Mugi of Mwaniki Gachoka & Co. Advocates, and Josphat Kihia Mugi of Mutech Contractors. Sister to the late Zipporah, Grace Njambi- Elburgon, Charles Ndungu- Elburgon, the late Charles Boro, the late Wallace Gachanja, Minneh Wanjuhi- Rongai Nakuru, the late Damaris Nyambura, Keziah Kabul- Kitengela, the late Peninah Nyambura, Jane Muthoni- Elburgon, and Martha Wanjiku-Kitengela. Mother-in-law to James Kinyanjui and Geneva Mugi- USA. Grandmother and Great grandmother to many.

A memorial service will be held today Thursday 6th August 2020 at PCEA Murang’a Town from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home tomorrow Friday 7th August 2020 at 7:00 am. Thereafter. the funeral service will be held at their home in Njabini South, Kinangop from 10:00 am, with strict adherence to Covid-19 restriction measures.
