MOSES ONGORO NYAKEYA

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden demise of our beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Colleague and Friend Moses Ongoro Nyakeya, of Kenya Revenue Authority, which occurred on Wednesday 17th July, 2024.

He was the last-born son of the Charles Nyakeya and Teresa Kerubo.

Son-in-law of Sammy Lang’at. Loving Husband of Betsy Cherono Lang’at and devoted father of Mayra Kerubo and Nev Nyakeya.

Brother of Dennis Nyakeya and Martha Nyakeya.

He was an uncle of Monica Kebati, Adonijah Nyakeya, Kailand Nyamochenga and Jotham Mose.

Cousin of Hellen Mose, the late Tom Mose, Richard Onywere, Zachary Obino, Peter Mainya, Miriam Mose, Evans Aruba, Richard Waro, Dinnah Moenga, Reginnah Monyangi, Norah Mauti, Jacob Okendi, Winnie Omwenga, Elsa Kerubo, Linet Moraa, Ednah Kwamboka, Hellen Nyaboke, Leah Bosibori, Sarah Kebati, Brandon Ochoi, John Onyancha, Lenet Moraa, Petronillah Kebati, Brian Ongoro, Kelvin Juma, Elvin Juma, Robert Moses, Dennis Ongoro, Cynthia Kerubo, Collins Kebati, Sheila Kebati, Arnold Mose Jerline Kebati, Linda Mogere.

Family members, friends and well-wishers are meeting daily at Utawala Airways as from 6:00pm and his rural home in Bonyando – Nyabare village, Kisii South – Kisii County, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortège leaves for Kisii from Chiromo Funeral Home – University of Nairobi, on Thursday 25th, July at 8:00am and thereafter a funeral service at Nyabare ELCK church at 3.00pm.

The funeral will be held on Friday the 26 th July 2024 at St. Peters Kisii Academy ground and thereafter he will be laid to rest at the family homestead at Bonyando Nyabare (near St. Peters Kisii Academy).
