It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. James Gataya Muronga which occurred on Monday 15th July 2024.

Son of the late Parklasio & the late Salome Muronga.

Loving husband of Esther Monicah Muthoni.

Father of Kigunda James, the late Anne Gathuku, Mary Kaburu, Judith Gataya, Peter Kinyua, Kenneth Kimathi, and Salma Kola.

Father in law of Mary Kigunda, Samuel Gathuku, Lawrence Rimbere, Anne Kimathi and Emmanuel Kola.

Grandfather Cynthia, Grace, Precious, Alex, Mitchel, Ken & Wendy, Maureen, Evans, Andrew, Mark Brian, Debra & Calvin.

Great grandfather of Freya, Kanana, and Kageni. Brother of the late Misheck, the late Stephen, the late Janet and Isaac Riungu, Jane Gacheri.

He was Uncle & brother in law to many.

The cortege leaves Mwenda Antu Funeral Home (Meru) on Monday 22nd July 2024 at 9.00am for Service celebration at Kaing’inyo Methodist church starting at 10.00 am.

Thereafter final rites at his family home, Kaing’inyo, Nthimbiri Division, Imenti North Sub-county, Meru County.
