MR.JAMES KIHARA THIRIKU

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing of Mr.James Kihara Thiriku of Fithi in Kieni Nyandarua County.

Son of the late Patrick Karigu Thiriku and the late Rose Wanjiru Thiriku.

He was the husband of the late Lydia Wangare Kihara. Father of Esther Wanjiru, Musa and Pauline Locho, Antony and Mary Tole and Stephanie Kihara. 

He was a dotting grandfather of Abraham and Cheryl Ngaira, Kwame Milanya, Dwayne Simiyu, Brianna Locho, Zae Tole, Cruz Locho and Kemuel Tole.

He was a great-grandfather of Torin Ngaira and Tendai Ngaira. 

James was a brother of Julia Wangechi Njugi, the late Justus Kibarua, the late Joseph Wachira, the late John Ndung’u, Lucy Waihuini Theuri, Regina Wairimu Karundo, Peter Thiriku Karigu, Ann Nyokabi Githae, Mary Wangui Njoroge and the late Raphael Gikandi. 

He was an in-law, cousin, and friend to many.

Family and Friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral planning, until the 26th September 2024 at his home in Ruai from 5.00 pm.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University referral Mortuary at 07:00 am on Friday the 27th September 2024 for the funeral service and burial at his home along Kangundo road, Kipawa Ruai at 10:00 am.

“One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and seek Him in His temple.” Psalm 27:4
