Death and Funeral Announcement of Mr. Musa Alwena Mukagwa of Kathome, Machakos County

 August 17, 1964 – March 28, 2020

It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mr. Musa Alwena Mukagwa which occurred on Saturday, March 28, 2020 in Nairobi after a long illness bravely borne. He was the National Executive for Special Programs and Security at the Kenya Scouts Association and a dedicated long serving Scout.

Beloved son of Mzee Zedekiah Mukagwa Kitangala and Mary Syowei Mutie of Kegoye, Wamuluma in Vihiga County. Loving husband of Mary Wavinya of Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) and devoted father of Michael Mukagwa (Lenana School) and Javan Kitangala (County School, Makueni). Brother of Samuel Chukunzira & Ruth Wambui and Dan Edenya & Maurine Atema. Son-in-law of Michael Musau & Regina Musau of Masii, Machakos and brother-in-law of the Musau’s. Cherished uncle of Shallyne, Esther, Maryanne, Forstin, Leancy, Marie, Meshi, Ama, Sylvia, Maureen, Yvonne, Tony, Alicia, Victor, Leon, Lisa, Leela, Musau and Mwende. He was a cousin and friend to many.

Musa will be laid to rest at his Kathome home, Machakos County on Saturday April 4, 2020 in a private ceremony.

2nd Corinthians 13: 11 – Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
