MUSA ODHIAMBO ORANJA

It is with great love and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Musa Odhiambo Oranja, formerly of the Cooperative Ministry Busia, which occurred on 12th July, 2020 following a long illness borne bravely, at Avenue Hospital, Kisumu.

Beloved husband of the late Mwalimu Grace Aswani Oranja. Son of the late Mzee Oranja Lanyo and Mrs. Sarah Amiru Oranja, of Bushieni Sub-location, Butere Sub county. Brother of Richard Lanyo Oranja, Mathew Oranja and the late Walter Ochieng Oranja, Cllr James Pino Oranja, the late Christopher Okumu Oranja, the late Mary Auma Oranja, the late Anyango Majengo Oranja, the late Phoebe Achieng Oranja, the late Margaret Aloo Oranja, the late Awino Cabish Oranja. Father of Eng. John Tom Oranja of Gaborone, Botswana, Dick Oranja of Trivitron Healthcare Africa, the late Mwalimu Agnes Mukungu Odaba, the late David Amiru Oranja, and Pamela Wasikhongo. Brother in law of Anne Ochieng, Jane Akinyi Lanyo, Rose Mathew Oranja, the late Phoebe Pino Oranja, Dorcas Pino, the late Grace Pino Oranja, the late Grey Okunyanyi, the late Isaac Okunyanyi, Paul Samuel Okunyanyi, William Tobosso Okunyanyi, Zakayo Atsulu Okunyanyi, James Ateka Okunyanyi and the late Fannice Namayi Muranda. Father-in law of Philidia Oranja, Joseph Wasikhongo and the late Louis Odaba. Grandfather of Allan Odaba, Dan Oranja, Presh Oranja, Ryan Wasike Wasikhongo and Noel Fanaka Wasikhongo.

Burial is for Saturday, 18th July, 2020, at his home in Emukayi Village, Bushieni Butere County, at 1000hrs. The cortege leaves Avenue Hospital Mortuary, Kisumu, at 1000hrs on Friday, 17th July, 2020, with a brief service stop-over at ACK St. Andrews Mudhiero. Burial is for 18th July, 2020, at his home in Emukayi Village, Bushieni, Butere, at 1000hrs.

Musa, you fought the war valiantly, lived and stood tall against all Contretemps. Now, in God’s hands you rest. In our hearts, you shall forever dwell. RIP.
