It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved Mwalimu Charles Muriithi Nderi which occurred on 2nd October after a long illness.

Son of the late Nderi Gachoka and late Irene Wangechi (Wagachira). Loving husband of Mrs Elizabeth Waruguru Muriithi. Loving father of Nancy Nyaguthii of Diffathas high school, John Nderi of Berkley insurance Brokers Nairobi, Irene wangechi of Kerugoya girls high school, Faith Wairimu of Githaiti, Ephraim Mwai of Githaiti, the late Esther Muthoni, Daniel Kinyua (Mugo) of Equity bank Nyahururu, Peter Kaburu of Utawala and Lucy Wambui of Sagana sub county hospital. Father in law of Joseph Njoroge, Teresa Wangui, John Karimi, Jedidah Nyawira, Margaret Wanjiru, Charles Kimani, and Anthony Muturi. Brother of Daniel Mugo, the late Michael Macharia, the late James Gichoya, Florence Wangu and Dominic Muriuki. He was grandfather of Patrick, Solomon, Chris, Dennis, Carol, Stacey, Riana, Abigail, Leon and fourteen more. He was a great grandfather of 2 boys.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Githaiti village, Kimathi sub location, Mukuru location, Kirinyaga county, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There will be a requiem mass today Tuesday 6th October 2020at 9.00 am at his home.

The cortege will leave ACK Mt Kenya hospital mortuary on Thursday 8th October, 2020 at 9.00 am for a funeral service /mass at Sr Benedict Ndiriti Catholic Church starting at 10.30 am. Thereafter, the body will be laid to rest at his Githaiti home.
