MWALIMU DORRINE ISABELLA AKOTH ODIPO

January 14, 1932 – November 4, 2021

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mwalimu Dorrine Isabella Akoth Odipo on 4th November, 2021 in Kisumu.

She was the wife to the late Gershom Hezekiah Odipo. Sister to the late Patrick, the late Beryl, Risper, the late Pamela, Edwina, John, the late Mary, William, the late Peter and Monica. She hailed from Sinapanga Bondo in Siaya County.

She leaves behind her children: Dennis & Consolata, Godfrey & Caroline, Sarah & Kiwanuka, Taffrine & Valentine, Florence, Betty & the late Moffat, Bether, the late Donald, Rukia, Bildad & Alicent and the late Peter. She also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 121 nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on 12th November, 2021 at St Stephen ACK Church Kisumu at 11.00am and the body will leave Avenue Hospital Morgue, Kisumu on Saturday 13th November, 2021 at 6am to Mnara in Muhoroni, Kisumu County for the burial service.
