It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Mwalimu Hudson Okunjo Ambuyo of Ebukhaya, Emuhongo Village, which occurred on Sunday, 22nd October, 2023 after a short illness.

Loving husband to Rev. Alice Awinja Ambuyo. Father to Johnstone Onyino (deceased), Velma Ayuma, Erick Ambuyo, Edgar Ambuyo (deceased), Dishon Akunda, Mable Ambuyo, Dr. Beverlyne Ambuyo, Daniel Ambuyo, Nicodemus Akunda, Sherry Shikanda, Jacinta Ambuyo and Joy Ambuyo.

Father-in-law to Patricia Nyangasi, Joyce Angatia, Damary Anupi, Walter Ogoli, Walter Okuta, Beatrice Amunga, Getrude Manyasi and Wycliffe Omuyoma.

Grandfather to Mable, Brian, Victor, Beirut, Kevin, Akunda, Raydon, Oyoya, Joel, Dabrat, Johny, Nigel, Barrack, Emmanuel, Ian, Derrick, Edgar, Newton, Calvin, Adam, Gabriel, Shammim, Ibrahim, Timothy, Tina, Phanice, Phillip, Griffin, Sharon, Reagan, Gregon, Ramsy, Jasmin, Natalia and many great-grandchildren.

Brother to Benson Okwako (deceased), Newton Ambuyo (deceased), Peter Akunda (deceased), Ketrai Achungo (deceased), Rupi Alembi and Josephine Imbayi.

Uncle to Pauline Otesa,Tom Aseka, Dr. Caleb Ameka, among many others.

Burial will take place at his home in Ebukhaya, EmuhongoVillage, Emuhaya Sub-county of Vihiga County on Saturday 11th November 2023.
