MWALIMU JACOB T.N. MASITSA

Born: February 15, 1957 – Died: December 27, 2021

It is with humility that we accept the will of God on promotion to Glory of our beloved Mwalimu Jacob T.N. Masitsa, on 27th December, 2021.

Son to the late Mzee Reuben Masitsa Luchivya, Abashu clan and Sarah Muronji Masitsa, Abashivika clan.Husband to Pamela K. Masitsa and in-law to Ithe Bakuli’s (Matete). Father to Begin Luchivya, Edwin Karanja, the late Leonard Mukangai, Mercy Khaigwa-llori, and Verriel Muronji. Father-in-law to Esther Mutonyi Luchivya, Winnie Mukhwana, Joseph Olesugun llori (Nigeria). Grandfather to Uriel, Muriel, Temitope and Samuel.

Brother to Bilia Mulombi, Grace Weranalo, the late Benaiah Luchivya, the late Agnes Metz, Joshua Masitsa, Joseph Ngaira and Julius Masitsa. Cousin to the Murunga’s, Lukulala’s, Koikoi’s, Marisio’s and the Maombo’s. Son-in-law to Elizabeth Mukangai, brother-in-law to the late Jones Mukangai, Alex Mukangai, Hellen, Betty (Matete) Leah Luchivya, Grace lndangasi, Salome Ngaira, Hellen Ngaira and Beatrice Ambulwa (Mugai).

Uncle to Stanley, Wiseman, Dan, Martin, Consolata, the late Neil, Kevin, Patrick, Angela, Hezron, Victor, Lydia, Samuel, Mildred, Nelly, Alexander, Bradley, Juliet, Joyce, Carolyne, Viviane, the late Dennis, Lucie, Imelda, Moureen, Faith,  Oscar, Walter, Stacey, Allan, Hesborn, Ketrine, Morgan, Alfred Luchivya, the late Mark Luchivya, Francis Luchivya, Albert Kasembeli, Luke Ismail among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting at his home in Mugai daily, for burial arrangements.

A fundraising will be conducted on Wednesday, 5th January 2022 at 1pm towards the funeral expenses.

The cortege will leave Kakamega Referral Funeral Home on Friday 7th, January 2022 at 11am. Burial will take place on January 8th, 2022 on his farm.
