It is with profound sadness we the Gitau Kiruku family announce the demise of Mwalimu Leonard Njogu Gitau, which occurred at Coptic Hospital on 4th December 2023.

Son of the late Geoffrey Gitau and the late Damaris Njeri

Loving husband to the late Lay – Reader Nancy Njogu. Beloved father to Evelyn Njeri, Geoffrey Gitau and Eunice Wambui. Father-in-law to Lawrence Njenga and Elizabeth Wathoni. Grandfather to Claire Njeri, Lenny Njogu, Collece Njuhi, Eliana Wahinya and Gean Mwaura.

Son-in-law to the late Geoffrey Karanja and Eunice Viambui.

Brother to Hellen Wambui, John Mwaura, Susan Njeri, Matthew Muiruri, Faith Wathithi.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Kibiku Ngababa, Kiambu County from 3.00PM.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on 11 December, 2023 at 8,00 am then after, a memorial service at ACK Emmanuel Church – Kibiku and thereafter the Burial will be held at his home.
