MWALIMU PATRICK KANG’ETHE KUNG’U

It is with heavy heart we announce the passing on of Mwalimu Patrick Kang’ethe Kung’u, at Kenol Hospital, while undergoing treatment.

Loving husband of Mwalimu Catherine Kang’ethe. Son of the late Jacob Kung’u Kimani and the late Josephine Wanjiru Kahuria. Brother of Emilio Kimani Kung’u. Step-son of Maria Waithera Kung’u. Step-brother of Priscilla Wanjiku Elijah, late Pauline Wanjiru Kioi, Leah Wambui Murigi, late Wandia Kung’u and Edward Kimani Kung’u.

Loving father of Peter Kung’u (KPL), Simon Kibe (Ministry of Energy), Dominic Kimani (Numerical), the late John Ndung’u and Martin Mburu (businessman). Father-in-love of Joyce Kibe, Pauline Kimani, Catherine Wangechi and Jenerica Muthoni. Grandfather of Patrick, Joe, Kelly, Margaret, Wamathue, Lewis, Mitchell, Eungene, Muharata, Ian, Mwangi and Kung’u.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home Kagunduini, Kandara, Murang’a County, at 3.00pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home – Kabati, on Friday 15th October, 2021 at 8.00am. Funeral service will be held at sacred heart Catholic Church, Kagunduini from 10.30am. Burial will follow thereafter at his home Kagunduini village on the same day.

Your wings were ready but our hearts were not. You are deeply loved and missed by many. Till we meet again. Rest in Peace Mwalimu Patrick.
