MWALIMU (RTD) SIMON MURIITHI WAHOME

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of mwalimu (RTD) Simon Muriithi Wahome on 31st August 2021. Until the ultimate death, he was a church catechist at Christ The Teacher Catholic Church Arutani.

Son of the late Samuel Wahome and the late Mary Ngonyo, husband to Mary Wanjiru. Father to Benard Wahome (Gitanis), Jesse Kairu (Vol), Jemimah Ngonyo (Bahati), Josephat Mambo (BAHAMA), Elizabeth Wanjira (Nakuru), Joseph Kamau (Kilifi), Charles Wanjohi (Kericho), Michael Njuguna (KMTC) and Hanna Wamuyu (Kisii University).

Father in law to Anne Waruguru, Serah Wangui, Lawrence Karanja, Ziporah Wanjiku, Samuel Kihara and Florah Wanjiru. Brother to late Josephat Githui, late Benson Wanjohi, late Teresa Gathoni, late Richard Njege, Stephen Warutere and Joseph kimaru. Uncle and grandfather to many.

Funeral arrangements are taking place are taking place at the deceased home at Solai NPA and Sunshine hotel Kericho.

The cortege leaves Nakuru PGH hospital mortuary on 8th Aug 2021 at 8.00am followed by church service and funeral at his home Solai Nakuru.
