MWALIMU STEVE MANDELA ANANG’A

It is with profound sadness that we announce the demise of beloved Mwalimu Steve Mandela Anang’a on the 18th October 2024. 

Steve was a teacher at Sondu Union JSS  and a loving father to Albert Bernard Okina Anang’a. 

Born 9th January 1990, Steve was the son of Japuonj Charles Anang’a Okolo and Mama Wilfrida Wadede Anang’a of Nyakach Kandaria, Kisumu County.

Step-son of Mama Siprosa Boro and Consolata Anang’a.

Brother of the late Jack Omondi, Charles Ojuku, George Anang’a, Cornelia Omoti, the late Maurice Otunga, John Kennedy Anang’a, Erick Anang’a, Dorcas Aoko, Fredrick Pasaka, Fabian Gori, the late Eddy Ongere, Lydia Awiti, Elizabeth, Emma, Rose, Pacifica, the late Petronila, the late Esther, Albert, Paul Anang’a, Joseph, Anthony, Michael, Lucy, Anne, Otieno, Lewnida, Sammy, Judy, Melvin, Maureen, Alphonse, Peter, Sylvia, Vivian, and Fisher.

Brother-in-Law of Martin, Dorcas, Perry, Lyne,Vivian, Cynthia, Sally.

Uncle of Kevin, Harry, Jolene, James, Kaia, Imani, Kanan, Zoe, Beau, Joy, Brian, Ann, Winnie, Eileen, Bruno, Alex, Mandela, Wema, Kelly, Christopher, Wilfrida, Ferr, Gori and many others. 

A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Milimani Kisumu on Friday, 8th November 2024 at 10.00.

Steve will be laid to rest on Saturday 9th November 2024 at his father’s home in Nyakach Kandaria, Kisumu County.
