MWALIMU ZIPPORAH WANJIRU CHEGE

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mwalimu Zipporah Wanjiru Chege.

Daughter of the late Peter Njau Mutitika and Sarah Wairimu Njau. Wife of the late George Chege Mungai. Daughter in law of the late Harrison Mungai Karugia and Phylis Wanjiru Mungai. Mother of David Mungai Chege (KEMRI-CCR (PHRD), Peter Njau Chege (Muranga County, Health), James Karugia Chege (NCBA-Nairobi) and Jessee Ndung’u Chege. Mother-in-law of Egla Wambui, MaryAnne Wangechi and Faith wambui. Sister of the late Beatrice Wangui, Anne Njanja, David Ndung’u and Mary Wairimu. Grandmother of George Chege Karugia, George Ian Chege Mungai, Zipporah Wanjiru Njau, Virginia Njeri Njau, Lawrence-Jomo Mungai and Frank Mwangi Karugia.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Homes on Friday, 3rd July 2020 at 7.00 a.m. The funeral service and interment will be held at the family farm, Kirenga sub-location Lari, Kiambu County at 10.30 a.m.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for burial arrangement at her home at Kiganjo-Thika.
