MZEE ALOIS OKUMU MUTUYI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of the Lord’s will that we announce the sudden promotion to glory of Mzee Alois Okumu Mutuyi, a retired clerk of East African Industries (UNILEVER). He passed on at his home on Friday 21st May 2021.
The first born son of the late Michael Okumu and the late Paulina Omeno of Ematora village, Mumias. Husband to Rose Adikinyi and Loice Masakha. He was blessed with 18 children; he late Christine, Winnie, the late Alex, Richard, Luke, Terry, Mike, Susan, Emmah, Clementina, Anjeline, Fredrick, Paul, Daniel, Agnes, Sheryl, Melvis and Jacob.
Brother to the late Jacob, Alfred, Remjio and the late Mathew. A proud and loving grandfather to Adelaide, Michael, Victor, Brenda, Eugene, Enrique, Clarion, Imelda, Fabian, Mercy, Maggie, Dorothy, Marion, Augustine, Nicollete, Freddy, Joseph, Sydney, Ruby, Jayden, Ryan, Roy, Jinnel, Kylie, Leona, Loyan, Medrick, Cedrick, Carlos, Ronnel, Mitchelle and Shanize. Great grandfather to Tamara.
Father in law to Patrick, Richard Ombima, Julliet, Josephine, Reagan, Ann, Wellingtone, Ernest, Diana, Mildred and the late Hedrick.
The cortege leaves St. Marys Hospital Mortuary on Friday 4th June 2021 for a vigil mass at St Peter’s Catholic Church, then body taken to his home in Ematora village, Mumias. The burial will be held on Saturday 5th June 2021.
