It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Mzee Arthur Matthew Raphael Muthuri which occurred on 22nd April 2020 after a long illness bravery borne. Mr. Muthuri was a public servant, businessman, farmer, church and community leader of great repute.

Son of the late Stephen M’Mugambi M’Kobia & the late Marion Wanja. Loving Husband of Julia Gaiti. Adoring Father of Irene Kanana Muthuri, Mercy Mwendwa Muriira (Nairobi Water CO.) & Dr. Moses Ikiara (Keninvest), Betty Njenga (UNESCO Paper Products Ltd) & Njenga Kariuki (Kevian Kenya Ltd.), Doreen Muthuri (USA), the late Mwenda Muthuri, the late Christine Makena, Michael Mutwiri & Carol Nguta. Brother of the late Francis Kithinji, Ayub & Gildren Kiambi, the late Gerrishon Mwirigi, the late Martha & Joseph Mburugu, the late Japhet Muriungi, Edith Muriungi, Stanley & Margaret Mutai. Son in law of Arthur & Susanna M’Miiru.

Brother-in-law of the late Robert M’Arimi, Japhet Mugambi, the late Joseph Nteere, Alice Mwari Isaiah, the late Johna Kithinji, the late Esther Ngito Magaju, Harriet Kathambi Ikandu, the late Dishon Gichoga, Joyce Robert, the late Julia Japhet, Isaiah Mugambi,Agnes Nteere, Charity Jonah, the late John Magaju, Justus Ikandu and Ann Gichoga. Dotting Grandfather of Collins Mwenda, Tracy Nkatha, Sheila Kawira, Kasey Karwitha, Titania Njeri, Tatyana Kendi, Angel Mwari, Melanie, the late Dennis Muthomi, Bill Mugambi, Shantel Nkatha and Brian Munene.

He will be laid to rest in his home at RiijiVillage, Githongo, Abothuguchi West, Meru County on Tuesday, 28th April 2020.
