It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance that we announce the passing on of Mzee Benson Momanyi Omwenga.

Son to the late Omwenga Ayiera and the late Bisieri Kerubo Chweya, Miriamu Kemunto, Bonareri and Moraa.

Husband to the late Jeriah Michieka Atandi, the late Hannah Moraa Nyangoka and Florence Kwamboka Ono. Father to Makori, Milkah, Gichana, Kerubo, Mokeira, Nyiboe, Kwamboka, Stella, Henry, Hellen, Omwenga, George, Bosibori, Mochiemo, Joel, Obiero, Rebecca, Nyaboga, Nyamisa, Nyakerario, Nyambati, the late (Mary Nyanchama, Elizabeth, Norah and Teresa).

Brother to Obonyo, Omariba, Ogeto, Mboga, Agnes, Ayiera, Onsomu, Nyangau, Mogotu, Nyamwaro, Onwong’a, Nyaboke, Teresa, the late (Mogoa, Mokaya, Kwamboka, Bosire, Oteri, Gesare, Ayiera, Moraa, Monyoncho, Moraa, Obiero, Nyamisa and Nyamwancha). Nephew to the late (Onwong’a, Oseko, Ondogo, Nyaboya, Bogonko, Nyambati, Magoma and Nyangau).

Father-in-law To Jeremiah, George, Jackson, Marabu, Mirang’a, Macrine, Josephine, Kerubo,Winnie, Nyaboke, Jane, Felister, Esther, Stella and the late Bundi.

He has left behind 34 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.

The burial service will be held on 23/06/2023 at Riamokogoti Village, Nyansiongo Location, Borabu Sub.-county. .
