It is with great sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Charles Wasike Pungulu which occurred on 2/5/2020 after a long illness.

First born son of the late Mr Jackson Pungulu wakoli and the late Mama Leah Nakhumwa of Machakha village, Webuye West Constituency, Bungoma County. Beloved husband of Selina Nabangala. Brother of the late James, Rachel, Violet, Florence, Julius and the late Kisiangani.

Father of Bramwel, Margret (AFA – SD), Raphael (Bungoma West hospital), Oliver (Public works, Nyandarua), Joab (Nairobi), Joan, Irene, Deliah (Bungoma West Hospital). Father in-law of Joseph, Amos and Dr. Jacob Wanyama (Bungoma West Hospital). Cousin of Margret Wandabwa, Jack Tumwa (Ambassador) among others. Brother-in-law of Francis and Fred. Uncle and grandfather of many.

Papa, you were a legend, our pillar and a mentor to many. We will all miss you. Rest in eternal peace.

Body lives Lifecare Hospital Morgue on 5/5/2020. Mzee Charles will be laid to rest on Wednesday 6/5/2020 at his rural home in Machakha, Miendo location.
