It is with profound sadness that we announce the demise of Mr. Dornald Willis Omondi Kohanya which occurred on Friday 12th July 2024.

Dornald was the beloved husband of Nereah Kohanya.

Father of Linet, Jacqueline, Nigel, Pritt, Phenny and Diana. He is survived by 20 grandchildren.

Father in-law of Hon. Dr. Otiende Amollo and Mr. Peter Ochieng Oluoch.

Son of the late Moses Ohanya Agola and the late Dereda Achieng Ohanya.

Brother of the late John Joshua Okello, George Philip Otieno, Rev. Charles Oduor Ohanya, the late Atieno Ohanya, the late James Agolla (Oginga), Pamellah Akinyi Nungo, Phoebe Barracklough, Gordon Odhiambo (Odak) and the late Ouma Ohanya.

Brother in-law, cousin and uncle to many.

The cortege will leave Bama Hospital at 2.00 p.m. on Thursday 25th July, 2024 for a requiem mass at ACK St. Johns Church, Ng’iya.

There will be a funeral service on Friday 26th July, 2024 from 9.30 a.m. at Kirindo Primary School along Kisumu Siaya road.

He will be laid to rest at his home near Dondi Market.
