MZEE EPHANTUS GIKONYO MBIRA

It is with much sorrow that we announce the passing on of Ephantus Gikonyo Mbira.

He was beloved son to the late Joel Mbira Gikonyo and the late Betha Nduta.

He was the loving father to Catherine Nduta, Pauline Njeri, Dr. Mbira Gikonyo, Marcia Wanjiku, Susan Wairimu, Dr. Steven Gikonyo, Kristene Wambui.

Grandfather to Yvonne Ngoiri; Alvin Kamanda, Ivy Nyanjau; Emmanuel Gikonyo, Isaac Ngotho, Melissa Imani, Georgina Nonny, Malaika Ngoiri; Brian Nyamu, Melissa Wanjiru, Jason Gikonyo; Shanna Ngoiri (late), Sarah Wairimu, Sharene Nduta, Serena Wanjiku, Samuel Gikonyo,Talya Ngoiri; Maya Larue, and Malachi Xavier.

Great grandfather to Zion Njuki, and Kingston Waweru.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily, at his home in Kiranga Village, Kandara Location. Meetings will also be held at All Saints Cathedral on Friday 14th, Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th July 2023, at 5:30pm to 7:30 pm. Meetings will also be held at Runda Evergreen on Thursday 13th July at 5.30pm and Saturday 15th July 2023 at 3.00pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home near Kabati, Thika Road, at 8.00am on Thursday, the 20th July 2023. The funeral service will commence at 10.00am at his farm in Kiranga village, Kandara Location.
