It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Evanson Mwathi Gatharia on 14th September, 2020.

Husband to Priscilla Wangari Mwathi. Father to Moses Gatharia, Clement Njau, Fanuel Njai, Jane Waruguru, Eunice Wambui, Fred Kiratu, the late Samuel Kamau, Elizabeth Wangechi, and Edward Muhia. Father in law to Lucy, Florence, Petronilla, Caroline, Kimani, and Julian. Grandfather to Elizabeth, Priscilla, Maureen, Brian, Evans, Ian, Kevin, Rafkins, Michelle, Wayne, Jabin, Tiffany, Jeanelle, and Jeielle. Great grandfather to Gathoni, Liana, Jordan, and Wanjiku. Brother to Wangechi, the late Samuel Njai, Phyllis, Miriam, Njoki, Kiratu, Nyokabi, Wangari and Muthoni.

The cortege leaves Gatundu Hospital Mortuary on Monday, 21st September 2020, at 9:00 AM. The burial ceremony will take place at his Gathiru home, Gachika Sub-location, Kiganjo location, Gatundu South.
