It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Francis Kahuthu Gichango which occurred on Monday May 18, 2020 at Consolata Mathari Hospital in Nyeri.

Loving husband of Joyce Wathira Kahuthu. Son of the late Charles Gichango Muya & the late Ruth Muthoni Gichango. Son-in-law of the late Felix Waikwa Waititu & late Virginia Wairimu Waikwa. Brother of the late Wangui Kahihu, the late Mukami Wanjohi, late Nyawira Wanjohi, the late Muya Gichango, and the late Githinji Gichango.

Dear father of John Waikwa of Mrima Secondary School, Likoni Mombasa, Jane Wairimu of Mikundi, Mathira Sub-County, Arch. Charles Gichango of Spaceart Architects Ltd, Eng. James Muya of KTDA, Paul Waititu (businessman, Nairobi), Eng. Peter Githinji of Nyeri Water and Sanitation Company (Nyewasco), Michael Mwangi (businessman, Nairobi), Ruth Muthoni (businesslady, Kangema), Purity Wangui of Tekeleza Hardware, Kamakis and Richard Mugambi of Nairobi. Father-in law, uncle, grandfather and great grandfather of many.

The cortege leaves Consolata Mathari Funeral Home on Friday May 22, 2020 at 7.30-am and thereafter requiem mass and burial at his home in Kianjai village, Thiha Sub-location, Mukurwe-ini Division, Nyeri County.

It’s God who gave us Francis Kahuthu and He has taken him back. May he rest in Everlasting Peace.
