MZEE HANNINGTON ATINGA ANGAYO

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Mzee Hannington Atinga Angayo that occurred on 30th May 2024 at White Rose Hospital in Kirinyaga County.

Mzee was born in Barding Village of Alego Usonga Siaya County in 1942 to the late Angayo Ohando and the late Osoo Nyar Yimbo.

He was the husband of Mama Petronala Atinga (Nyar Rajula) and Mama Mary Atinga (Nyar Adoche).

He is survived with a number of children;Vincent, Richard, Irene, George, Luke, Christine, Linda, Linnet, Judith, Ruth, Lillian, Esther, Jared, Suzanne, Aggrey and Eunice.

His siblings were James Albert Atinga, Christopher Anyango, Nelson Andiwo, Domtila Oketch and Jane Ogutu all deceased.

He had many grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was an uncle of Jared Ogutu, Charles, Major, Celestine, Eddy, Dr. George, Florence, Asha, Betty, Dotty, Alfred, Wycliffe, Rosa, Martin, Fred and many others.

He was the son in-law of the Rajula’s and the Adoche’s. He was the father in-law of Jane, Conslate, Rachel, Janet, Pam, Caro and Linet. His sons in-law were Albert,Weinright, Robinson, Cyrilus, Harry, late Wilfred, Amos, Joel and Kennedy. He was a friend and a cousin of many.

The cortege will leave Siaya County Referral on 14th June, 2024 for burial on Saturday 15th June, 2024 at his home in Barding South Alego Location Siaya County led by ACK Masumbi Parish.
