It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the Ascension to glory of Mzee Hannington Nakitari Ndombi that occurred on 5 th June 2024.

Son of the late Chief Ndombi wa Namusia and the Late Mariam Mutoro. 

Brother of the late Prince Justus Mukopi, the Late Zebedayo Makokha, the Late Francis Ndombi, the Late Getrude Namukove and Esther Nasike. Loving husband of the late Eldah Nasike.

Selfless and treasured father of Wilfred, Gilbert, Linet, Mable, the Late Jafred, Stella, Stanley, Susan, Sospeter, Joslyne, Stephen, Silas, Eldah and Anthony.

Brother In Law of Ronald, David, the late Ondiaka and the late Wangu. Alice, Rosina, the late Ruth, Paustina, the late Sellah, the late Emmy, Rispah, Mary Jackline and Rose. He was Father in law of the late Jackson, Paul, Martin, Francis, the late Castro, the late Christine, the Late Rev.Risper, Caroline Rhoda, Veronica, Damaris, Hon. Naisiae and Caroline Lang’at.

He was grandfather of Dorah, Cynthia, Hellen, Eldah, Brigitte, Laura, Joan, Velma, Susan, Dorah B, Arnold, Lydia, Jones, Linda, Victor, Hope, Abigail, Lilian, Faith, Mike, Terry, Eleazar, Moses, Ruth, Carringtone, Wendy, Miriam, Robina, Barney, Tony, Nasike, Roy, Melinda, Ian, Linda, Isaac, Hope Abigail, Mpho and Jabali.

He was an uncle, a great-grandfather of many and a strong pillar in the community. Family and friends are gathering daily at his Mukhweso residence.

The cortege leaves Lifecare Hospital Bungoma on Thursday 20th June 2024 for overnight virgil and burial on Saturday 22nd June 2024 at his Mukhweso home, Navakholo, Kakamega County.
