Son of the late Mzee Zacharia Wanyang’i Khalonyere and Esther Machio Anyango (Nakhasoko). Brother of the late SSP Solomon Ochieng and the late Virginia Oundo. Step brother of the late Jeremiah, George, Nathaniel, Patrick, Nobert, Fredrick, Hannington, Beatrice, Jane, Phanice, his late sisters were Obingo, Keya, Auma, Anyango and Akumu. Husband of Mary Agoya and the late Florence Hongo. Father of Esther, Caro, the late Nabongo, Achieng, Ojukwu, Joan, Kadogo, Otieno, Knight, the late Ben, Dada, Smarty, Auma, Linda, Wanyang’i and Sussy. Father in- law of Milton, Joseph, Wilfred, Rev. Okumu, Randal Rowland (USA), Janet, Penina, Zilpa Kavi. He was an Uncle, Grandfather and Great Grandfather of many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Hospital mortuary on Thursday 7/05/20 at 7am. Burial will take place at his home Sibina village- Samia
