MZEE ISAAC MABEYA ANYIENI

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mzee Isaac Mabeya Anyieni, which occurred on 13 th January 2025, after a long illness.

He hailed from Kiango village, Kiango Sub-location, Bomachoge Borabu Constituency, Kenyenya Sub-county, Kisii County.

Son of Heradion Anyieni Mogunde and Peninah Nyamanyi (late) and stepson of Moraa Anyieni.

He was the loving husband of Mokeira, Birita (all late) and Joyce. Father of Loice, Yucabed, Isabella, Lumumba, Nyanchama, Robert (USA), Richard, Albert (USA), Lucas, Henry, Kerubo, Oichoe, the late Makori, Kennedy, the late Okemwa, Ombogo, Magangi, Wilter, Kennedy, the late Robert, Peter, Richard (USA), Jackline, the late Rose, and Damaris.

Brother of the Late Hon. Zephaniah Mogunde Anyieni, the late Daniel, Mogusu, Yunuke, Anna, Jerusha, the late Mary, the late Salome, Kepha, Ogetange, Bonface (USA) and Nyarangi.

Son-in-law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nyang’enya, the late Mr. and Mrs. Nyachuma and Mr. and Mrs. Okari.

Mzee Isaac was nephew of Ontweka, Nyamichaba, Nyanchama, Ombogo, Obuba and Bosibori, all late and Chuma. He shared close kinship with the Ontweka’s, Ombogo’s, Obuba’s, and Nyamichaba’s, among others.

Planning meetings are being held at Sagret Hotel on 27th, and 28th January 2025.

Fundraiser will be held on the 29th January 2025 at Maxwell Old sanctuary. Mzee will be laid to rest on

7th February 2025 at his home in Kiango Village, Bomachoge Borabu, Kenyenya Sub-County, Kisii County.
