MZEE JAMES AGGREY ONG’ONGO WEKOTO

 (1937 — 2020)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Mzee James Aggrey Ong’ongo Wekoto which occurred on 10th October 2020 at St Elizabeth Mukumu Hospital after a short illness.

Son of the Late Jacob Wekoto and Late Mary Ochwinyo Wekoto of Irechea, Ebukuti Village Butere Sub-County. Son in-law to the late Livingstone Olaka Endetie & Mrs Josephine Lukoye Olaka of Shiatsala Sub-Location, Manama South, Butere Sub-County. He was the husband to the Margaret Atenya. Father of Rael Godia, late Fridah Were, Salome Wekoto, Janet Walunya, Jacob Wekoto, Ernest Wekoto, Roy Wekoto, Oliver Olwanda and Willy Eroba. Guardian to Hellen Wasikala, John Oduor Wekoto and Pamela Chepkorir (Dolly). He was brother to the late Richard Omondi, the late Ramji Wekoto, Yunia Adhiambo, the late Beatrice Anyango Wekoto, Mercy Achieng, the late Consolata Wekoto (Connie).

The body will leave St Elizabeth Mukumu Hospital Mortuary on Friday 16th October 2020 at 2pm for burial at his home in Lwaminyi Village, Central Butsotso, Kakamega County on 17th October 2020 at 12.00 noon. The service will start at 8.00 am.
