It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mzee John Kihiuria Kiara of Cheru, Karatina. Formerly of Meteorology Dept. Which occurred on Wednesday, 5th January 2022.

Son of the late Kiara Murage and late Muthoni Kiara. Husband to the late Esther Wanjeri Kihiuria. Brother to Kinyua Kiara and others. Father to Anthony & Mercy Kihara, Margaret Muthoni, Lydia & Fred Njoroge, Wilson Ngari, Lucy & Albert Githinji, late Murage, late Charles Wambutu, Jane & the late James Ngari, Eva & John Macharia, Julia & Stephen Nderitu, Susan & Peter Makau.

Grandfather to Euticus & Ann, Tony & Frida, Dave & Bonny, Willie & Koi, Nelly & Andrew, Rose, George & Lucy Gesare, Sylvia & Ben, Charles, Jack & Nettah, Kevin & Betty, John & Rahab, Faith, Abby, Paul, Isaac, Betty, Joy & Emanuel. Great grandfather to many.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday, 12m January 2022 for his home in Cheru opposite former Riverbank Karatina University Campus, at 9am. Funeral service will follow thereafter in his home from 11a.m.

Family and friends are meeting daily in his Cheru home.
