It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mzee Johnson Getuno Nyantari of Nyanturago Village, Nyaribari Masaba, Kisii County on Thursday, 25th May 2023 at War Memorial Hospital Nakuru.

Son of the late Isaiah Nyantari and the late Drusilla Kemunto Binyanya; Step-son to the late Peris Basweti.

Husband to the late Omong’ina Esther Nyarinda. Loving father to Elisheba (Kitale) Jennifer (Kisii), Hellen (Nairobi), Milkah (Mombasa), Nyariki (Eldoret), Joshua (Kisii), Grace (Mombasa), Makini (Nakuru), the late Nyang’ara, the late Momanyi, Sarah (Mombasa) and Gichana (Mombasa).

Brother to the late Gideon Bikeri, the late Esther Atuke, Perpetua Ondieki, Priscilla Nyachere, the late Teresa Subbo, Billiah Nyambati, the late Mary Ombati and the late Caren Monda. Step-brother to Ogoti, Michoma, Nyambane, the late Alice, the late Willy, Rose, the late Makini, the late Evaline and the late Nyan’gara.

The cortege leaves Nakuru War Memorial Hospital Mortuary to his home in Nyanturago Village on Friday 9th June 2023. A church service will be held at his home on Saturday 10th June 2023.

The funeral service will take place at Nyanturago High School Grounds, and thereafter interment at home Nyanturago Village, Nyamasibi Ward, Kisii County on Sunday, 11th June 2023.
