It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of our Dad, Joseph Guto Nyakundi on Wednesday September 2nd, 2020 after a long illness bravely borne.

Husband of the late Mama Jessica Uside and Florence Mekubo. Father of Joel Nyakundi (Toronto, Canada), George Nyakundi (ICEA Lion), Pastor.Esther Ogega (Principal, Ruai Girls Secondary, Nairobi), Jane Guto (Ontario, Canada), Agnes Bahati (Nyamache Sub-County, Kisii), Friday Guto (Toronto, Canada) & Bonnie Guto (Equity Bank). Brother of the late Mariko Nyakundi, Tabitha Getange, Gideon Magaki, Bagwasi, Ogenche, Nyaberi, Omweri, Getoi, Bosibori, Milka, Magendo, Nchore and the Ondiekis. Son In-law of the late Mr&Mrs. Daidora Amadadi (Chavugami Village, Majengo Vihiga) and Mr&Mrs. Yuventus Mekubo (Machoge).

Nephew of Kebiro, Pastor Osioru, Nyaboke among others. Korera of the late Michael Mogere (Got Chak, Bogirango) the late Charles Mukui Wasike (Teremi Village, Chywele, Bungoma) the late Thomas Moywaywa (Nyamagwa, lgare) Linus Kebungo (Nyanchenge, Bogetorora), Mochana Kerage (Ekerubo, Nyansiongo) and Festus Azuma (lkuruma Village, Riamoni, Nyamira). Father In-law of Beatrice Guto (Ontario, Canada), Kellan Nyakundi (Nairobi), Jacob Moywaywa (Zanzibar), Dominic Kebungo (Maji Mazuri Secondary, Kisii), Jackline Kerage (Nairobi) and Edna Kemuma Azuma (KCB Bank, Nakuru).

Uncle of the Getanges, The Nyaberis, The Nyambanes, The Omatos, The Atutis, The Onyiegos, the Marikos, the Getois, the Ogenches and the Magakis. Grandfather of Lydia, Vallerite, Donatilla, Elnora, Clinton (All of Canada), Doreen (DFID, Kampala Uganda), Tony, Arnold, Peter, Samuel (Zanzibar), William, Victor, The Jessicas, Camile, Spencer and Jiyana. Great grandfather of Malaika, Mariah and Eli (All in Canada).

Funeral service will be held on Friday 11th September, 2020 at Boitangare and will be laid to rest at his home-Boitangare, Bosansa village.
