MZEE LABAN GETANDA MOGOI

We announce the death of Mzee Laban Getanda Mogoi. He was the beloved husband of the late Mama Loise Bonareri Getanda. He was the father to late James Mogoi, late Jerusha Omani late Dorca Onderi, Dinah Kwamboka Ondieki, Charles Ondieki, late Yophes Oichoe, late Richard Nyandoro, late Wilter Kerubo, Margaret Isaboke, Jemimah Monyenye. He was a father in-law to late the Omani, late Onderi, Ondieki, Steve Isaboke (Multichoice Group), Mokua, Esther, Josephine, Rose.

Brother in-law to the late Ombure,Tongi’, Bisieri, Moraa and Araka. In-Laws (Korera) to Ariri, the late Osoro, Omanwa, Ong’ombe, Mogaka,Abea Ogage, Mzee Isaboke and Mayogi. He was brother to the late Sagini, Ondabu, Mogunde, Nyaboke, Nyareso, Ondari, Ktosa, Kinara, Sambom, Chums, Metobo, Ombeo, Osoro, Nyamwaro, Mosongo and Momanyi, Kemunto, Annah, Nyanchogu, Grace, Gesusu, Miruka, Mose, Michaka, Mochorwa, Osoro and Nyaengu Monginajane, Miriam, Nyaboke.

Grandfather to Kibogoye, late Rose, Makoyo and Liz, Machoni, Onyikwa, Kefa, Jorum and Gloria, Obuya, Okiata, Risper, Kangish, Marion, George and Naomi, Magare, Mogaka, Mogere, Duncan and Margaret, Ongombe, Selina and Eddie (Dallas, USA), John, Ondari, Jerusha, Kefa, May-aka, Okindo, Barongo – Jeru, Brian.

Great grand father to Dion, Cherub, Cheyline, Davis, James,Wisely, Dencel, Meshack, Isaac, Christopher, BrIanna, Alicia, Aleria, Ariana, Zarah and Remy.

Family, relatives and friends are meeting at the Isaboke Residence, Bosto Road, Karen – (Off Silanga Road) and at his Nyabite, Bonyameuru home daily.

There will be an Online Thanksgiving Service on Thursday 17th February 2022 at 7:00pm. A link shall be provided.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday 20th February from 9am at Nyabite Primary School and later burial ceremony at his home Nyabite Village, Kiobegi Sub Location, Masige East Location, Nyabite Division, Nyamache Sub County, Bobasi Constituency, Kisii County.
