It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mzee Lucas Abuya Olang’o of Asembo Kanyikela, Siger village, west Asembo, Rarieda.

Son of the late mzee Joseph Olango and the late mama Maria Nyapidi of Siger village, Asembo. He was the husband of Rose Abuya, the late Esther Abuya and late Alice Abuya. Father of Maurice Abuya, Dr Joshua Abuya, Eng. Eric Abuya. Joseph, Joel, Srvy, Elisha, late John, late Tom, Margaret, Monica, Atieno, Milka, Miriam, Akida and adopted Kennedy. Father-in-law of Felista, the late Millicent, Sharon, Florence, Judah, Maureen, Jane, Lilian, Alice, Late Phelister & Janet, Julia and others. Grandfather of George, Paul, Mike, Nelson, Dedan, Ian, Nick, Rose, Janet, Jananga, Flavian, Eddy, Joslyn, Lucas, Risper Sophie, Otieno, David, Mitchell, Josyline, Angel, Tony, Videx, Wendy, John, Hawi and Ramsamora.

He will be laid to rest on Saturday 29.08.2020, at his Siger home, West Asembo, Rarieda Sub County, Siaya County.
