It is with profound sorrow and sadness that we anounce the sudden demise of Mzee Nemwel Atemba Ombongi of ltongo village, Mokubo Location, Kenyenya District (Kisii County) on 12th October 2020 at his home after a short illness.

He was the son of the late Mzee Paul Aruga Ombongi and the late Mama Monica Tamaro. Loving husband to Hellen Monchari and Mary Kerubo. Caring father to David Okerosi, Enock Matongo, the late Ezekiel Ombaso, Florence Bitengo, Laban Nyaosi, Damaris Tamaro, Josephine Moraa, Gladys Onchere, Naftal Nyakwara, Douglas Mirera, Jemimah Okenyuri and Calvin Ombongi. Brother to the late Timothy Ombaso, the late Nyabairo, the late Omambia, Matiabe, the late Charles Mwendia, Omanga, the late Caleb Marube, the late Obwoge, Rambeka, the late Omagwa, late John Kenyanya, late Kerubo, late Andaraniko Mirera, James Ombaso, late Ombaso, late Nyakwara, Marita, late Bitutu, Nyambeki, late Nyabwari, late Nyanduko, late Milkah Rabera, Kemunto and Nyamoita.

Father-in-law to Peninah Nyakara, Anne Matara, Lenah Moturi, Elinah Anganya, Robert Mbeche, Rhodah Mbaka, Lilian Ndakalu, EvansAungo, Richard Onyango, Jared Rioki, Mercy Kerubo and Denis Ongaga. Uncle to Joseph, Otoki, Henry Ombaso, Zachary Omagwa, Ruth, Evans Omanga, David, Gideon, Joel, Dishon, Aruga Omambia, Douglas, Kevin, Rodgers Mwendi, Monica Oyaro, Hellen Nyagaka, Dr. Silas Ayunga, Nelson Kenyanya, Shadrack, Ogenche, Matongo Ombaso, Amos, Erick, Evans, Nyakwara Matiabe among others.

The cortege left HEMA Hospital on 23rd Oct. 2020 to his home in ltongo Mokubo Location, Kenyenya District (Kisii County) where he will be laid to rest on Sunday, 25th October 2020.
