MZEE PAUL KILUNGYA MAKUU

It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on at the Kenyatta National Hospital of Mzee Paul Kilungya Makuu on Christmas morning – formerly of Kenya Revenue Authority, JKIA and PAPS Chairman, Thwake Dam.

He hailed from Mathangathini Village, Mavindini Location of Makueni County.

Son of the late Makuu Mbalu and the late Teresia Mutee Makuu.

Husband of Esther Itumbi Paul.

Loving father of Geoffrey Mbithi (Kenyatta National Hospital), Gregory Musyoka (SGA Kenya Ltd), Michael Nzau (ASDSP Murang’a County), Jacinta Mueni (Revenue Dept. Makueni County), Virginia Munyiva, Martin Mbalu (Administration Police Shauri Moyo) and the late John Makuu.

Father-In-law of Jane Mbithi, Dorothy Munyanyi, Caroline Katunge, Redempta Mbula, Emmaculate Nthenya, John Sila and Philip Muia (Sir K).

Grandfather of Vincent King’oo, Lawrence Kilungya, Maureen Ndinda, Victor Muema, Joy Ndanu, Winnie Ndila, Everlyne Itumbi, Victor Mutua, Winnie Mwelu, Israel Mwendwa, Victor Silas Joy Mbeneka, Josephat Munyao, Mercy Musengya, Purity Wanza, Hellen Itumbi, Victor Kilungya, Vincent Kalonzo, Duncan Kilungya and Blessing Mumo.

Son-in-law of the late John Kivuva and the late Rebecca Mbula.

Family and Friends are meeting in Navara Lounge – Athi River – and the family home in Mavindini for prayers and funeral planning.

The cortege leaves KNH Morgue (Private Wing) on Saturday 9th January 2021 at 6am.

Life celebration service shall be held at Mavindini CCTI Grounds from 11.00am.

Internment shall be for close family members only at their home thereafter.
