It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mzee Peter Nambiro Mubatsi of Emuchimi village of Nabongo, Mumias, Kakamega County which occurred on May 13, 2020.

Son of late Leopold Mubatsi and Late Marisela Namakali. Husband of Mwalimu Mama Faustina Awiti and Mama Irene Nanzala. Brother of Late Michael Mubatsi. Loving father of Patrick, Vincent, Josephine, Bernadette, Hon. Anne, Louis, Dr. Elizabeth Nambiro, Christine, Joseph, Francisca, Jacqueline (USA), Andrew, Evelyn, Margaret and Teresa. Brother-in-law of Christopher Omukuba, Hilary Awori among others. Father-in-law of Caroline and Chrispine of Ndalu Scheme, Eng. Cleophas Simiyu, Raphael Apungu, Dr. John Osewe, Martha Welime, Prof. Edward Mamati, Fabian Musila, Belinda Obore, Lekah Kimasul and Godfrey. Uncle of many. Grandfather of Moses, Catherine, Emanuel, Mercy, Mary, Mercy Njeka, Brenda, Mike, Julius, Genevieve, Faustine, Philip, Cherly, Peter Apungu, Faustine Achieng, Peter, Jimmy, Lewis, Daniella, Charles, Tony, Victor, Andy, Austin, Alfred, Leo, Manu, Mariana, Sanaipei and Ethan among others.

The cortege leaves St Marys Mission Hospital Mumias Mortuary on Saturday May 16th, 2020 at 7am. Burial will take place at his home, Emuchimi village, Mumias on the same day.
