It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the demise of the late Mzee Peter Otaka Ojowi which occurred in Kisumu on 27th October,2023.

He was son to the late Laban Ojowi and the late Asewe

Husband to Margaret Otaka. Father to Bob Peter (Mombasa), Tobias Peter, Judith Achieng’, Otaka Jackson (KRA), Alphonce Orla, Roselyne Nawire, Susan Scovia, Brighton Ogweno, Merolyne (deceased), Jecinter (deceased) and Michael Aboy (deceased).

His brothers and sisters are George Ogoma, Okomo Ojowi(deceased), Susan Aoko, Amisi Ojowi, Mjumbe Ojowi, Eng David Kirui (Kenya Ports Authority), Adero, Owuor, Evance, Milka, Domnick, Nyongesa. Other brothers and sisters are: Alphonse Kirui (Senior Chief), Henry Kirui, Otieno Odendwa, Odira odendwa,Olima Odendwa, Samuel Odoyo, Odhiambo Msiwo, Aketch Nyadimbo and Elsa Ligunga among others.

The cortege leaves Med 25 Kirindo Mortuary on 29/11/2023. Burial will take place on 30/11/2023 at bis home in Ugina Village, Mfangano South location, Mfangano Central Sub County, presided over by Uori SDA Church led by Pastor Peter Kagalla, host pastor for Mfangano South District.
