MZEE REUBEN CHELANG’A (LONGELECH)

The Organising Committee and family of the late Mzee Reuben Chelang’a (Longelech) of Komolwo Kimnai EMC announces the passing on of Mzee on 18th July 2024 at Moi Teaching Referral Eldoret after long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Chelang’a Chelimo and the late Saniaka Chelang’a.

Loving Husband of Elizabeth Chepkurui Chelang’a.

Brother of the late Jacob Toroitich Chelang’a and Divina Julius (Kipsaiya).

He was blessed with eight children, Daisy (Teacher), Ben (KenGen), the late Jonathan, Thomas (Businessman), Isaac (Ministry of Finance), Timothy (KERRA), Edwin (MTRH) and Joan (Bomas of Kenya).

Grandfather of 25 and two great grandchildren.

Father-in-Law of Lisper (Consultant), Rukiah (Ministry of Interior & National Administration, State Department for Correctional Services), the late Marion, Joan (Teacher), Caro (Teacher), Emily (Business) and Dorcas (MTRH).

Relatives and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangement at his home in Kimnai & Eldoret.

He will be laid to rest on Saturday 27th July 2024 at his Home in Kimnai Sub-Location, Lelan Ward.
