MZEE SHEM ODEGI TUJU

We regret to announce the sudden demise of Mzee Shem Odegi Tuju (formerly of Kenya Airways) that occurred on 13th July at his home in Ahono village.

Son of the late Mzee Stephen Tuju Owuor and the late Mama Esther Adhiambo. Husband of Beatrice Anyango Tuju (former teacher at Our Lady of Mercy Primary School). Father of Edna Omburo – New Jersey, Esther Tuju – Kisumu, Gilbert Tuju -California and Felicity Tuju – New Jersey. Father in law of Dr. George Omburo and Antony Mbala. Grandfather of Stephanie Balidas, Chris Ochie, Derek Omburo, Andre Makori, George Junior, Osa Bazuaye and Sekani Marube.

Brother of the late Edward Tuju, the late Benter Akinyi, the late Peter Owino, John Collins Tuju (former NYS), the late Mary Aluoch, Hellen Auma, the late Barrack Otieno and the late Elkana Oguttu. Brother in law of Mildred Tuju, Alex Otieno, the late Anne, Jackline Tuju, Joseph Odero, Obadiah Koth, the late Florence Akello, Dan and Grace Ochuonyo, George and Edith Olum, Janet and Peter Okore, James and Phoebe Olum, Omondi and Evelyn Bworggah, Paul and Caroline Omega, Jared and Jane Andwati, Richard and Rosemary Olum, Anne and the late Jim Obonye, Cathy and the fate Okeya Olum, Cecilia and the late Obonyo Olum.

The cortege leaves Bama Funeral Home in Siaya on Friday 17th July 2020 at 1500hrs for a funeral service at ACK Wagwer Church.

Burial service will be held on Saturday 18th July 2020 starting at 0700hrs.

Due to the Government directives on Corona Virus, we request and encourage you to show support by wearing your masks, sanitizing, maintaining social distance and keeping attendance to the burial short.
