We are saddened to announce the sudden demise of Mzee Zedekiah Okenye Onyinkwa of Kiaruta Village (Gesonso), Bomwanda Sub-location Bogiakumu Location, Kisii South, that occurred on Monday, 15th November, 2021, at Kisii Level Five Hospital.

Husband of Jemimah Moraa Okenye. Son of the late Malachi Onyinkwa and the late Drusilla Nyamoita. Brother of the late Abuga, the late Ogutu, the late Omambia and the late Miriam, Obadiah Moseti and Peris Obeno.

Father of Justin Obwoge, George Morara, James Moracha, Alfred Osoro, Dephine Nyaboke and the late Emmanuel Bichang’a. Father-in-law of Gladys, Ruth and Lilian. Uncle of the Abugas, Ogutus, Migunas, Omambias, Mosetis, Okenyuris, Akungas, Ontitas, Mayengas, Nyarangis, Abuyas, Nyachaes, Ogetontos, among others.

Brother-in-law of Hon. Com. Abuya Abuya, David Nyachae, Ogongo the late Kaburi, the late Mochama, the late Kumenda, the late Miguna and the late Okenyuri. Cousin of the late Jackson Ogechi, Nyarangi, Mrs Omweri Kibwage, the late Nyakundi, Oyaro, Gitembe, Joseck Nyaisu, among others. Korera of Ongeri, Nthatu and the late Nyamweya. Grandfather of Lynn, Ian Omambia, Ivy, Benjamin, Emmanuel Abuga, Janet, Emmanuel Moracha, Beltin,Talia, among others.

Burial will take place on Friday 3rd December, 2021, at his home Kiaruta Village (Gesonso), Bomwanda Sub-location, Bogiakumu Location, Kisii South.
