NANCY MUTHONI MAINA (WA-KAMAU)

With the humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the sudden promotion to the glory of Nancy Muthoni Maina (Wa-Kamau) that occurred on 16th February 2023 after a short illness.

Nancy was the sixth born of the late Phinehas Ikang’u Muigai and Naomi Wanjiru Phinehas.

Loving wife to Josphat Maina Ikinu and Mum to Phinehas Kamau, Virginia Wambui (Savana Carwash Thika), and Patrick Ikinu. Mother-in-Law to Jacinta Kamau and Peter Ngugi.

Sister to the late Jotham Muigai, Esther Njeri, late Margaret Nduta, Peter Kinuthia, Andrew Maina, Lucy Wanja, Grace Wanjiku, and Esther Warnbui.

Sister in-law to the late Irene Waithira, Agnes Wanjiru and Evans Mwangi, HE Pastor Dr. Dorcas Rigathi and H.E Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Oscar and Nancy Wambugu, Ev Simon Chege Ikinu and Milka Wamaitha.

Grandmother to Prince Maina, Erick Kibugi, Lavender Muthoni, Lucky Wambui, Iman Wanjiru, and Tania Muthoni. She was an auntie to many.

Prayers and meetings are being held at her home, Ndunyu Chege, Gatanga Sub-County, at 4.00 PM and at Thika Farmers Hotel Thika from 6.00 pm on 20th February 2023 and Wednesday 22nd February 2023.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home Kabati on 23rd February 2023 at 9am for funeral service at Kamunyaka Primary School at 10.00am and thereafter burial will follow at her home, Ndunyu Chege, Gatanga Sub-County.
