NELSON KAGIKA GACHOKA

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nelson Kagika Gachoka. of Nyahururu, Mamboleo Village, which occurred on Sunday 30th July, 2023.

Son of the late James Onesmus Gachoka and the late Hazel Wanjiku Gachoka. Step-son of the late Rahab Nduta Gachoka.

Husband to Anne Wambui Kagika. Father to George Gachoka Kagika, James Githinji Kagika & Margaret Njeri, and Hazel Wanjiku Kariuki & George Kariuki Nderu. Grandfather to Nelson Kagika, Shawn Kagika, Mburu Githinji, Nderu Kariuki and Kagika Kariuki.

Brother to the late Kezia Njeri & the late Wilson Kamau, the late Benson Muturi & the late Tabitha Njambi, the late Hosea Murima & Margaret Wanjiru, Josiah Kamanu &Wambui Gaitho, the late Cloud Waweru Damaris Wanjiku, the late Esther Njoki & the lateAyub Githendu, Jane Nyambura and the late Agnes Nini.

Step-brother to John Kamanu & Elizabeth Njoki, and Dr. Florence Njeri & Ambassador Njoroge Ng’ethe.

Brother-in-law to Dr. Francis Ng’aru and Mumbi Ng’aru, amongst others.

A Farewell fellowship will be held at St. Francis – Karen on Wednesday 2nd August, 2023, at 6.00pm.

The Funeral service will be held on Friday 4th August, 2023. It will begin with viewing of the body at Lee Funeral Home at 8.004m, followed by a funeral service and requiem mass at Resurrection Gardens – Karen at 11.00am; followed thereafter by interment at Lang’ata Cemetery.
