NICHOLAS MWANGI IRUNGU

Born: 25th December, 1949 — Rested: 28th November, 2020

It is with saddened hearts and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Nicholas Mwangi Irungu who went to be with the Lord on Saturday, 28th November, 2020 at Aga Khan Hospital, following a short illness bravely borne.

Dotting son of the late Ephantus Mwangi and Jane Wangari. Beloved husband of Alice Waruguru. Father of Patricia Wangari, June Njeri and Jacquiline Wangui. Son-in-law of the late Reuben Gakuo and Mrs. Gladys Njeri Gakuo. Brother of Jacqueline Kiai, Damaris Wanderi, Lorna Njeri, Evans Mwangi, Grace Kagambi, Wallace Maina, Geoffrey Njoroge and Edward Irungu. Brother-in-law of Mary Maina, Moses Mwangi, Peter Gathungu, Julia Warirah,Wallace Gakuo, Benjamin Njuki, Edward Irungu, Rufus Kiai, Gabriel Wanderi, Sarah Murugi, Timothy Kagambi, Joyce Muthoni, Judy Wambui and Grace Gathoni. Uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather to many.

The memorial service will be held at St. Marks Church, Westlands on Monday, December 7th at 2:00pm.

The burial will take place at the family farm in Timau on Thursday, December 10th at 11:00am.
