It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Pastor Alice Mary Onyona Buruna which occurred on 13th July 2020 at Fountain Hospital, Eldoret.

Daughter of the late Reverent Isaya Makuku and Salome Andanje. Beloved wife of Mr Charles Buruna. Caring mother of the late Arthur Magui, Lorraine Kavedza, Lucy Andanje, Maurice Misigo, Jackline Sungu, the late Caroline Kanaga and Victor Manyeve. Mother-in-law of Bryan Thomas, Naomi Misigo and Alfred Koech. Grandmother of Jean, Marlon, Alison, Leon and Charles. Sister to the late Dr John Makuku, the late Deborah Bakhoya, the late Jacob Kutswa, Adah Musambai and Nelly Litondo. Sister-in-law of William Mugasia, Samuel Magui, Esther Layer°, the late Tafrosa Ambemba, Dorcas Jaika, Sonya Makuku, Dinah Kutswa, the late Hassan Musambai, the late Frankline Litondo and the late Aggrey Makomere. Aunty of George Eliuva, Kagoni, Manyeve, the late George Nandwa, Edward Etabale, Jimmy Nandwa, Amenya Makuku, Kennedy Amanya, Browne Kutswa,Tony lkunza, Jerry Litondo among others.

Funeral Service and Burial shall be held on Saturday, 18th July 2020 at 9:00am at her Mulimani Village home, Chekalini Location, Kakamega County.

 Isaiah 25:8 – He (Jehovah) will swallow up death for ever, and the sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of His people He will take away from all the earth, for Jehovah Himself has spoken.
