PATRICK KOMO NJOROGE

1937 – 2021

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Our Patriarch Patrick Komo Njoroge of Gilgil, on 31st October, 2021, following a long battle with Alzheimer Dementia.

Husband of the late Teresia Wambui Komo. Father of Patricia Nyambura Njenga (Ngong), Jane Kariuki (CBK), Mary Mwai (Kimunyu), Lucy Muigai (Kabete National Potytechnic), Gabriel Komo (Gilgil) and Paul Komo (USA). Father-in-law of Njenga Njoroge, the late John Kariuki, Paul Mwai, the late Dr. Billy Muigai, Linda Gitau, Annie Njoroge (USA).

Son of the late Njoroge Komo and the late Hannah Nyambura Njoroge. Son-in-law of Hodiah Njeri Mugecha and Gitau Mugecha. Brother of the late Damaris Mbugua (Rongai), Agnes Muchai, Mary Gathwe, the late Frederick Njoroge. Brother-in-law of Njambi, Mugecha, Karanu, Ngonyi, Wariara. Nephew of the late Josephat Mathu.

Cousin of Julius Mathu, Patrick Wakaba, Gugu and many others. Grandfather of Yvonne, Brian, Terry, Tansi, Rachel, Lisa, Patrick, Teresia, Ivy, Njoroge, Wambui, Komo, jeiel and Elishiana and many others.

Meetings to be held daily at Sagas Hotel, along Thika Road, from 5.00pm.

A memorial service to be held at Consolata Shrine -Westlands, on 3rd November, 2021, 2.00pm.

He will be laid to rest on 4th November, 2021. The cortege will leave KU Mortuary, at 6.45am, for Munyaka farm in Gilgil, where the mass and final send off will take place.
