It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. Patrick Mwaura Mbirwe of Turi in Molo Division, Former Chairman -Turi Farmers Cooperative Society.

Son of the late Mbirwe Mwaura and the late Regina Wangui. Husband of Mrs. Margaret Wanjiru Mwaura. Father of Mary Wangui Muli (M.W. Muli & Company Advocates), Jimmy Mbirwe (Mbirwe Systems), Ann Wothaya Muraguri (SA), Jane Wanjiru Gathura (USA), Felistas Wanjiku Gatune (USA), Sylvia Wamuhu Ngigi (PS Kenya), Benard Gitonga (USA) and Anthony Chege Mbirwe (Capitalone Technology). Father-in-law of Maurice Muli Maingi, Elizabeth Wanjiku, the late George Muraguri, Dr. Michael Gathura (USA), Dr. Julius Gatune, Dr. Julius Ngigi, Sameerah Gitonga (USA) and Jane Chege.

Grandfather of Oliver, Joy, Mark, Faith, Eva, Marvin, Ivy, Maggie, Shilla, Lisa, Ashley, Mumbi, Matt, Tiffany, Sheshi, Tim, Brittany, B’nae, S’mir and Travis Mwaura. Great grandfather of Ngina, Amarisa and Reagan. Brother of the late Elizabeth Wanjiru, the late Sebastian Mung’othi and the late Peter Kamau. Son-in-law of the late Gitonga Wairi, and the late Rachel Wothaya. Brother-in-law of Alphonse Gitonga, John Maina, Zachariah Muthee, King’ori Gitonga, John Mureu, the late Veronicah Murugu, Beatrice Wanjugu, Wairimu Hombe and Purity Wangui.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday, 14th July 2020 at 9:00 a.m. for burial at Lang’ata Cemetery. Mass will be conducted at the graveside or St. Paul’s University Chapel (to be confirmed) in conformity with the prevailing gathering restrictions.
