It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Patrick Oyugi Moseti of Nyansiongo settlement scheme and Kebirigo market on 20th October, 2021, after a long battle with sickness bravely borne, at the Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital.

Loving husband to mama Pacifica Nyaera and Hellen Nyaboke. Son of the late Moseti Nyarunda and late mama Maria Nyaboe of Gesangero Sub-location, Ng’enyi Location, Kisii County. Father to Pauline (formerly KTDA), Florence (Nakuru Day Sec.), Gaudensia, Pius (Keroka), Stella, Regina (Misambi Sec.), Fanis (Rangenyo Girls), Ben, Jackie (ODPP), Everline (Nyamira), Monsieur Oyugi (Cardinal Otunga), Walter (Prescott Engineering), Alphonce, Joan, Letitia (Simba Cement), Sylvester (KNH), Ronald, Nyaboe (Nyamira County).

Brother of the late Nyarunda, Ochungo, Tengeri, Makori, Rael, Machini, Mogeni, Nyamusi, Rabera, Omechi, Mose, Onsomu, Basweti, Mwango, among others. Son-in-law to late Sylvester Machuki and the late Marcella Kwamboka of Bosamaro Tinga and the late John Onkeo and Pacifica Nyasumi of Bogichora Makairo. Brother-in-law to the late Nyakoboke, Nyaboke, Nyangweso, Momanyi Nyambati, Mitiambo and Sigara Tengeri, the late Daniel Kebaso, the late Monyenye, Ongweso, Sese, Barongo, Nyakerario, the late Bwari, Monica, the late Zakayo Onkeo, Margret, Faustine,Yuvensia, Oseko and Change.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home, Rigoko village in Nyansiongo Borabu and Kebirigo Market home.

The body is lying at Kenyatta University Teaching, Research & Referral Hospital (KUTRRH) Mortuary.

There will be main harambee on the 2nd November, 2021, at Hotel 680.

Burial will take place on the 5th November, 2021, at his home in Rigoko Nyansiongo Settlement Scheme.
