Patris Ombati

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the passing on of our Mzee Retired Teacher and Councillor (Bonenti, Kanyimbo ward) Patris Ombati of Isoge scheme Nyamira County, who passed away on Saturday 14th March 2020 at Hema hospital in Kisii.

Son of the late Lambert Ogetonto and the late Leona Kemuma, step son of Sabina Onyinkwa and husband of Mary Kemunto. He was brother of John Nyamosi, Maria Maiso, Ibrahim Onyinkwa. Elizabeth Nyatichi, the late Zebedee Okioma and the late Samuel Ongaki, step brother of Alice Bitengo,Wilfred Onyimbo, Irene Osebe, Margaret Nyanchoka, Moses Omanga and Caroline Kemunto; father of Richard Onyimbo, Stefanie Bitengo, Kennedy Orenge, James Innocent Omoke,Tom Nyaboga, late Edward Mandere, Kevin Kenyanya, Paul Onchari, Cosmas Oruru, Domiano Oteyo, Nicholas Mbunde, Lazarus Onyiego and Elizabeth Nyabiage. Korera of the late Aori and the late Betsua Bisieri, the late Obaga and Salome Bitutu, the late Keraro and Rachael Moraa, John Bosire and the late Pauline Kemunto, Jonathan Njoroge and Margaret Wambui, Francis Mogaka and Josephine Kemuma, the late Kinyua and Florence Wamuyu, the late W. Ombati and Mary Nyamira, Ambrose Mweresa and Dorcas Kemuma, Alfred Nyamwaro and the late Teresa Nyanchama. He was father in-law of Alice, Regina, Emily, Jackline, Dorcas, Mary, Nancy, Lydia, Naomi and Jemimah. He had over thirty grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

He will be buried at his farm at Kijauri, Isoge settlement scheme, Nyansiongo, Nyamira County. The cortege will leave Hema Hospital on 26/3/2020 for his residence. He will be laid to rest on 27/3/2020.
